A cellulosic ethanol pilot plant will be built at Canada’s Bioindustrial Innovation Centre, located in Sarnia-Lambton, southwestern Ontario. The $CND 10 million pilot plant will produce cellulosic ethanol from renewable wastes.
The Province of Ontario, through its Innovation Demonstration Fund, is investing $CND 4 million to assist Woodland Biofuels Inc. and its partners build the groundbreaking demonstration plant.
The April 9th announcement by Woodland Biofuels is another recognition of Sarnia-Lambton as the location of choice for industrial bioproduct companies.
