CENNATEK is maintaining and operating a comprehensive analytical services Lab that has been established at the UWO Research Park Sarnia-Lambton Campus in support of the Bioindustrial Innovation Centre. With a long history of Research Laboratory development, operation, and management CENNATEK is providing services to the Bioindustrial Innovation Centre, its tenants, and the greater industry in the region.

The analytical services provided by CENNATEK are largely focused on three core industrial applications of biomass:

• Biodiesel – Full fuel quality characterization in accordance with international standards (ASTM, ISO, EN).
• Ethanol – NREL characterization methods for enzymatic pathways from lignocellulosic materials.
• Thermal Conversion – Combustion properties of biomass for heat or electricity generation (proximate, ultimate analysis, elemental analysis)
